G7 Leaders' Declaration Regarding Proposed Ceasefire in Gaza

As Leaders of the Group of Seven (G7), we wholeheartedly support and commit to the comprehensive agreement outlined by President Biden. This agreement aims to achieve an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the liberation of all captives, a substantial and consistent increase in humanitarian aid for distribution across Gaza, and a lasting resolution to the crisis, ensuring both Israel's security interests and the safety of Gazan civilians. We reiterate our backing for a credible path to peace, culminating in a two-state solution. We urge Hamas to accept this agreement, which Israel is prepared to advance, and we call on all nations with influence over Hamas to assist in ensuring its acceptance.
